Blizzard Peak Alpacas was established in 1996 by Dana & Janet Brier. 
   We are a small alpaca farm located in rural southwestern Pennsylvania.  Like many new breeders,
our farm started out with just a handful of alpacas.  Since then we have grown, but we have elected to stay 
small and work with a limited number of animals.   By doing so, we are very focused on the detail of our
breeding program.  We are now producing a few select premium quality alpacas each year.  Some will be
offered for sale to the discriminating buyer while others will remain in our herd.  We pride ourselves on the
personalized care and detailed attention every animal receives while residing here on the farm.

   We are happy to educate and work with new buyers but we are not an outlet for large package deals.
All animals sold from Blizzard Peak are ARI registered and come with full guarantees.  If you are looking

   In 2004 we were introduced to the Bergamasco Sheepdog.  For many years we had bred and raised Labrador
Retrievers.  We enjoyed many rewarding experiences but became discouraged with what we were seeing happening
with the breed.  The Bergamascos, and the other breeders we have met, have given us new inspiration.  We feel
very fortunate for the opportunity to help preserve and nurture this wonderful rare breed!
