We are doing the back legs first. Here we are lifting them into the bucket...

Legs and paws are soaking in the water with deodorizer/cleaner.  The cleaner is natural, organic and non-toxic.
I like to get my hands in the water and work the mats around to help loosen the dirt.

I then wring out the mats and you can see the dirt coming out.  I will repeat this procedure a few times if needed...

Since the solution is non-irritating, no need to rinse but it certainly would not hurt if you feel like it.
We dry the paws and legs with a towel...

Time for the front.  We changed the water after the back legs were done...

We use this product and it has a nice fresh smell although I'm sure there are others.
